SSC uses only the highest quality spring steel. The material is usually chrome silicon, selected for its strength and light weight. The springs are powder coated to provide an extremely durable and attractive finish.

manufactured with precision.
We coil our springs to strict specifications and stress-relieve in a continuous oven. We then grind the edges smooth, shot peen, 100% set-remove and powder coat the springs to maximize performance and fatigue life. High tech equipment is used to test the preproduction and production runs of every spring application we build. Testing includes inspection for load height as well as rate. (Many of the springs are made with variable rate.)
